   Obi-Wan Kenobi Desktop Theme for Windows 95 Plus!
                  ver 1.0 April 1998
                  By Rebecca J. Bush

INSTALLATION
************
Unzip the file "Obiwan.zip" using a 32-bit archive utility
such as WinZip (any unzipping tool that allows long file
names is fine). Make sure the option "Use Folder Names"
or "Use Directory Names" is selected, then extract all
the files to the root directory of the drive containing
your theme directory (usually C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes).
	* The theme file "Obiwan.theme" will be extracted to
	  \Program Files\Plus!\Themes
	* This readme file and the bmp files for startup
	  and shutdown screens will be extracted to the
	  \Program Files\Plus!\Themes\Star Wars\Kenobi
	  directory.
	* All other components will be extracted to the
	  \Program Files\Plus!\Themes\Star Wars  directory.

To save space, I didn't include a screensaver in the zip file.
You can download the Star Wars Reality screensaver from
[http://www.winfiles.com/apps/98/savers-movie.html] (and
other Star Wars screensavers as well).

To apply the theme, start the Desktop Themes application from
the Control Panel and select the "Obi-Wan" theme from the list.

To use the logo screens "Benlogo.bmp", "Benlogow.bmp" and
"Benlogos.bmp" for your start up and shut down screens,
first backup your original startup/shutdown screens by
locating the files "logo.sys" (in your root directory),
"logow.sys" and "logos.sys" (in your Windows directory) and
move them to a backup directory. Then rename the Obi-Wan logo
files (located in \Program Files\Plus!\Themes\Star Wars\Kenobi)
thus:
	Benlogo.bmp  --> logo.sys
	Benlogow.bmp --> logow.sys
	Benlogos.bmp --> logos.sys
Move logo.sys to your root directory, logow.sys and logos.sys
to your Windows directory.

THE THEME
*********
See "filelist.txt" for a list of the components of this theme.

This is my Obi-Wan Kenobi theme for MS Plus!. Most of the icons,
sounds, pictures, etc. were found on the WWW. I designed
the startup/shutdown screens as well as some of the saber
cursors.

I designed this theme (and my other Star Wars themes) because,
after searching the Web for a good SW theme, I found that none
of the ones out there were quite what I wanted, so I made my
own. Then I found that there was just too much good stuff to
fit it all in one little Star Wars theme, so I made a number
of Star Wars themes based on different characters. If you
download my other themes (including Luke Skywalker, Han Solo,
and the Droids theme, and soon to include Princess Leia),
the components of each theme will be placed in the
\Program Files\Plus!\Themes\Star Wars directory since
some of them share components, thus saving your hard drive
space. It's fun to install all the themes and then change them
regularly based on your mood!
